How to Preview (and Edit) MS 365 cloud attachments in the MS Outlook preview area.

Whether they are OneDrive, SharePoint Online, or Teams cloud attachments, attached as Modern Attachments, or as Smart Links or classic links in the email body, you can now open your MS 365 cloud attachments directly in the preview area of Microsoft Outlook.

You can even edit your MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel cloud attached files, as well as cloud attached images and pictures, right in the preview area of Microsoft Outlook (provided they have been shared with you with a “Can Edit” permission).

How to Preview (and Edit) MS 365 cloud attachments in the MS Outlook preview area.

Very easy:
Simply click on your MS Outlook Modern Attachments, as you would do with any classic attached file, or click on their Smart Links or classic web links provided in the body of your emails.
